Challenges

•  Mortgage crisis of 2007 created a new phenomenon in which homeowners who are so far underwater on their mortgages that they're tempted to strategically default; that is walk away even if they can afford the monthly payments on their current mortgage.
•  The flood of foreclosures caused by this mortgage “meltdown” has created a large deficit within the balance sheets of banks, mortgage insurers and servicers that has required them to rethink how they do business.
•  Most financial institution do not have the technology infrastructure in house to handle this flood of foreclosures and would rather outsource this service to a vendor
•  Mortgage owners of risk need a solution to incentive homeowners underwater to continue making monthly payments on their mortgage.

Solution
•  Developed the patented Responsible Homeowner Reward “RH Reward” platform, which was recognized as one of the top 50 inventions of 2010 by Time Magazine

RH Reward platform incorporates the following applications:
•  Consumer facing website built utilizing .NET Framework and Silverlight
•  Customer Relationship Management portal to support campaign management through LVG's call center providers
•  Administration portal that enabled LVG employees to easily configure all client through a web browser
•  Reporting dashboard utilizing SQL Server Reporting Server “SSRS” and Dundas Data Visualization to enable business intelligence activities for both LVG and its clients
•  Platform positions Loan Value Group as the only servicer within the mortgage industry with a bespoke solution that addresses owners of risk (Banks, Mortgage Companies, Mortgage Servicers, Mortgage Insurers, etc.)

Platform developed with scalability in mind. Implemented a layered approach that involved the following layers:
•  Presentation (Microsoft ASP.NET 2.0 / Microsoft Silverlight 3.0)
•  Business Logic (Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 / C#)
•  Data Access (Microsoft ADO.NET Entity Framework 1.0)

•  Supported on demand scalability within the presentation layer by deploying within virtualized environment utilizing VMWare.
